SimplyFun Games are Simply Fun!

August 23, 2015

We were lucky enough to get another SimplyFun Game in the mail!  Since we had already won two games on a National Macaroni Kid Twitter Party, we already knew what we were in for.  All of the games are educational and have 3 easy steps on how to play.  As a teacher, I love all things educational.  Let’s face it, I rarely follow directions because I like to make up my own twist on playing.

As we opened the box, the boys smiled when they saw the Pass the Rooby Roo!

game.  This game is perfect for both of them.  The 3 year old helped the kangaroo move to the new space and the 6 year old came up with the answers.  It helped my toddler see the alphabet and recognize the letters while my 6 year old was learning his letter sounds.  It was easy for me to adapt this game for both ages and we will be playing again soon!

We already had the My Monster matching game which is fun for both boys and ideal for the 3 year old.  The object is to match the shapes onto your monster and the first one to find all the shapes wins.

The Corner Center Match Game is geared more towards the 6 year old and teaches how to match shapes in a geometry type way.  My 3 year old can still participate by putting cards down, but he doesn't know how to match the shapes correctly.
