Kids of all ages will love the family-friendly Christmas Tours at the Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana Art.  A Christmas train traveling through several rooms and decorated with Dickens Villages is a favorite.  Trains have been added in the pool room this year.  A gingerbread-style playhouse and multiple musical animated figures invite kids to participate.  Decorated trees, lighted animated reindeer, Santas, angels, nativities, Lafayette houses and Dickens villages fill the Museum and spread the Christmas spirit.

The Haan Museum, located at 920 E State Street in Lafayette, is known for its outstanding collection of historic Indiana paintings and massive, ornate Renaissance Revival furniture.  Although part of the ceramics collection will be put away, many of the major pieces will still be on display.  While the Museum is impressive on an ordinary day, seeing it all decked out for the Holidays is an extraordinary experience.
