We know the kids get bored being inside so let this guide be your best friend.  Here you will find a variety of FREE or inexpensive winter fun for all!  Be in the know with this guide for all of the best events in the Tippecanoe County and surrounding areas!

Outside Activities:

 Ice Skating at Riverside Skating Center.

✿ Sledding at Slayter HillMurdock Park, & Happy Hollow Park.

Indoor Activities:

✿ Let Pinterest be your guide and there's already a ton of ideas in these boards Beat Winter BoredomWinter Craft Ideas, Play in the Snow Ideas, & Winter Snacks.

✿ Pick one restaurant on our Kids Eat Free Guide and eat there.  

✿ Check out a movie from your library for a family movie night or enjoy one of their many story times.  The story times are pretty much daily events.

✿ Spend the day cleaning house and donate items to a local charity like Trinity Mission who provides life transformation programs focused on drug and alcohol addiction.

 Malone's Gym has a full schedule of open gyms.

✿ Visit a nursing home and spread some cheer.

✿ Go to Trader's Point awesome, FREE indoor Playground!  

 Play some glow in the dark fun at Mini Monster Golf & arcade!  Mention Macaroni Kid and get $2 per person and/or $25 off a Birthday Party!

 My Gym is perfect for getting that extra energy out!  Check out their winter camps!

✿ Faith Family Night is each Friday and they have free swimming, games, and use of basketball courts.  And don't forget the New Year’s Eve Spectacular at 3 different locations!

✿ Check out all the hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, and engineering at Imagination Station.

✿ Spend the day at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum.  Every 1st Thursday of the month is a free night!  FREE Admission to Indy's Children's Museum

✿ Holiday Youth Sports Camps at Family Sports Center would be a win~win!

✿ Bounce around at the local trampoline park, Elite Air.

✿ Knock down pins at the Union Rack & Roll at Purdue University’s bowling alley.

Tap into your creativity at Painting with a Twist.

✿ Everyone loves the play area at Chick-fil-A and every 2nd Tuesday is Family Fun Night.
