The boys dug into the Lincoln Logs® quickly! Since they had never played with this old time toy, they weren’t familiar with how to put the logs together. We pulled out the direction sheet and quickly figured out how to make the log houses. My 7 year old was eager to copy the pictures and took to it naturally. He made a house quickly and I assisted him with the roof. The 3 year old wasn’t able to build without assistance, but he will be able to someday. He is still into sorting so organizing the pieces is a hit with him. I love that this toy is educational as well as fun! Since all the pieces fit nicely in the large tin, it was a breeze to clean up and store away for later.

We also received the Fun On the Ferris Wheel™ Building Set which is specifically designed for girls. I love that they packaged these K’NEX toys for the engineering girl in mind. This series is great for teaching science, technology, engineering, and math while the child doesn’t even know that they are learning! The box is pink with purple and has a girl on the front as the main character. The ferris wheel actually moves and functions with a push of a hand.
