Purdue’s Gifted Education Research & Resource Institute

Announcing the 2024 Spring Super Saturday Program!

January 8, 2024

Looking for some hands-on, brains-on fun before the summer?

Then look no further! The Gifted Education Research and Resource Institute’s [GER2I] Spring Super Saturday Program is almost here!

Our Spring Super Saturday (SSAT) program welcomes students in kindergarten through 8th grade to Purdue’s West Lafayette campus for enriching academic experiences in STEM and humanities courses designed to challenge students with content one to two grade levels above students’ current grade placement. Spring SSAT also allows students to explore and further develop their interests.

Our 2024 Spring SSAT program begins January 27th and meets every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through March 2nd. Across the six Saturdays, students will receive 18 hours of instruction tailored to develop their interests and increase their skills as they learn alongside like-minded peers. While students enjoy their courses, parents, guardians, and caregivers can attend informational sessions led by faculty and graduate students on topics of interest ranging from working with your child's school to healthy social and emotional development to providing enrichment at home.

Registration is open now! SSAT costs $280/child with discounts and financial aid available. To register, visit our website: https://education.purdue.edu/geri/youth-programs/super-saturday/ or contact Supers Program Coordinator Alia Pineda Medina, apinedam@purdue.edu. Registration closes January 21st, so reserve your child’s spot now!
