Accelerated Fastpitch Academy (AFA) is thrilled to announce their Youth Summer Softball Camps from June 10-14, 2024, at their Lafayette location. Players will learn essential fundamentals to hone their skills, build confidence, and experience the state-of-the-art AFA facilities firsthand with interactive drills and coaching from former collegiate softball players and current athletes.
The camps include Defense and Functional Movement, All Things Catching Catchers Camp, Youth Beginner Pitching, and Youth Beginner Hitting. Each camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and costs $50 per child. Players should wear tennis shoes (no cleats) and bring their equipment and a water bottle.
AFA focuses on every aspect of a player's development, empowering them with the skills and mindset needed to succeed on and off the field. AFA offers weekly classes in strength training, defense, hitting, and pitching, designed with a holistic approach to develop well-rounded athletes within a supportive and inclusive environment. Defense + Functional Movement Training Camp

Elevate defensive skills with drills that improve footwork, glove work, and hand-eye coordination. Our strength training coach will guide athletes on proper arm care and enhanced functional movements.
All Things Catching Catchers Camp

Comprehensive training for catchers, focusing on throwing, receiving, framing, blocking, leadership, and pitch calling.
Youth Beginner Pitching Camp
● June 13, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM for ages 7+ ○ Register Here
Beginning pitchers will learn the ABCs of pitching and proper arm care. No catcher required for participation.
Youth Beginner Hitting Camp
