Forest Academy Hosts “Rooted in Resilience” A Free Nature Based Community Event for Kids and Families

Lafayette, IN – Forest Academy invites families across the Greater Lafayette community to experience the power of nature-based learning at “Rooted in Resilience,” a free community event designed for children and families.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Camp Sycamore Valley, 8439 IN 26, Lafayette, IN 47905.

Rooted in Resilience offers an engaging evening of hands-on nature activities, mindfulness and resilience stations, and forest exploration experiences for all ages. Activities are thoughtfully designed for children ages 3 to 16, creating opportunities for discovery, connection, and growth in an outdoor setting.

Families can look forward to:

• Guided forest exploration for all ages
• Activities designed specifically for ages 3 to 16

This free event is open to the public and may be attended with any level of donation. Community members are encouraged to register in advance.
