Flourish Studio and Classroom is Bringing Art Right to Your Child's School!

This fall, Flourish Studio and Classroom is expanding After School Art Clubs to seven schools across the Lafayette area: Burnett Creek, Battle Ground, Klondike, Cole, Mayflower, Woodland, and Wyandotte Elementary. What started as a single after-school program has grown into one of the ways we love spending our afternoons, right where kids already are.

We started these clubs because we kept hearing the same thing from families: kids need more time to create, and parents need fewer things to shuttle between after a long day. So we brought the studio to the schools instead. Every week, students get dedicated time to paint, draw, sculpt, and experiment with new materials, guided by instructors who know how to make art class feel like the best part of the day. No car line, no extra stop. Just kids doing something they love, surrounded by friends, right after the bell rings.

Art gives children something a lot of after-school time doesn't: room to think for themselves. There's no single right answer in a painting or a clay sculpture, and that kind of open-ended problem-solving builds confidence that carries into everything else kids do. It's also just plain fun, and we think that matters on its own.

If your child's school isn't one of our seven partner sites yet, we'd still love to see you at the studio. Flourish offers classes, camps, and workshops for every age, from toddlers through adults, right here in Lafayette.
