Class Experience:
Teen Public Art Camp is becoming a tradition here! This will be the 3rd year offering this camp and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon! Campers get to spend a FULL WEEK planning, designing, and creating a mural in the heart of downtown (final location- TBD but being both options are within 2 blocks from the studio)! They'll learn why public art is important, visual communication strategies, speak with local public art organizations, and work together to bring their mural to life in the heart of our city! They'll also have time to create their own stickers, stencils, and buttons to promote their own ideas- not to mention all the FUN!
Notes:
Camps are a drop-off workshop. Participants should be checked in and out no more than 5 minutes before and after the start and end times.
Suggested age range is 12-16 years old.
Dairy-free popcorn snack will be provided, but be sure to eat a meal before.
Weather permitting, we like to spend our lunch time with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, taking a walk around the block, or running in the local community garden! Sunblock, hats, or sunglasses are great to have for those days.
