Description
Lafayette Parks & Recreation will host the annual Pooch Plunge event next Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 9 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Castaway Bay. The event will feature giveaways, local vendors, and pup-cups. In addition to the dog swim, attendees can sign up for dog park memberships and enjoy a variety of free promotional items.
The cost to attend is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog per night; limit two dogs per person/per night, limit two people per registration. Registration is available online or at the gate. To register online, please visit lafayetteparks.org.
All dogs MUST have a rabies vaccination on file in order to attend Pooch Plunge. Attendees may bring a copy of their vaccination certification with them (collar tag will NOT be sufficient) OR email a copy to dogpark@lafayette.in.gov. Note that current dog park members will have certification on file. Children under the age of 12 years old are not permitted to attend, and children ages 12-15 years old must be always accompanied and supervised by an adult while attending Pooch Plunge.
