At special request, we're bringing back a favorite! Enrollment for our Teen Photography Course is now open!
This course is perfect for young artists (recommended ages 12-17) interested in learning more about photography basics. Each week we will focus on a new skill/technique, practicing using our cameras as we go. Artists will also be choosing their favorite photographs throughout the course and self-critique their work for a final Gallery Night at the end of the course.
Course details:
Week 1- learn the camera
Week 2- composition and distractions
Week 3- rule of thirds and balance
Week 4- guiding lines and focus
Week 5- lighting
Week 6- portraits
Week 7- finalize Gallery
Week 8- Open Gallery (specific date and time tbd)
Artists should bring their own cameras, but any camera is acceptable (from iPhone's to DSLR). We will also attempt to meet at the studio, as well as in local, outdoor areas throughout the course as weather allows.
This course consists of 7 drop-off style classes and adults are not expected to stay, but always welcome.
