Class Experience:
art+yoga = the best kind of healthy creativity!
In this hour-long class, we welcome Tina from Dimension 7 Yoga to walk us through gentle, floor-focused poses that emphasize letting go of stress or tension. The poses are gentle and flexible enough that all abilitiy levels will be comfortable participating.
The "art" part of our art + yoga classes happens naturally throughout the class because all of our movements and poses will be done on a large sheet with charcoal and pastel sticks in our hands. As we move, stretch, and release we have opportunites to make marks on the paper below us in whatever way feels best. This process, inspired by artist Heather Hansen, leaves physical evidence of the emotional work we've done AND creates a beautiful artwork to take home.
Notes
Space is very limited. Be sure to wear dark, comfortable clothes that can get messy.
