From Wonders of Wildlife (K-1st) to Where the Wild Things Were (6th-8th), each camp is designed to spark curiosity about nature, conservation, and coexistence. Campers will discover how animals adapt to their environments, explore biodiversity through interactive games and activities, and learn how they can make a difference in protecting wildlife. With access to Wolf Park’s ambassador animals, campers will witness firsthand how wolves, foxes, and bison play vital roles in their ecosystems. Whether they’re creating habitat models, analyzing predator-prey relationships, or learning about conservation efforts, every camper leaves with a deeper appreciation for the wild world around them.
Wolf Park’s Art & Enrichment Camps blend creativity with conservation, offering young artists a unique way to connect with nature. Campers will explore wildlife and ecosystems through hands-on art projects and interactive activities, from painting Turtle Garden Tiles to designing Birdsavers that protect native birds. They’ll also learn how environmental enrichment benefits animals, gaining insight into how Wolf Park’s ambassador species interact with their habitats. By upcycling materials, crafting advocacy posters, and creating nature-inspired artwork, campers will discover how art can be a powerful tool for wildlife conservation. This two-day camp is perfect for kids who love to create, explore, and make a difference for the natural world!

I'm a social media junky and love interacting on Facebook. I have 3 boys that keep me quite busy, but love that I can work from home and take care of my family as well. Working for Macaroni Kid has been a great outlet for me. As an elementary teacher, I like to stay connected with families, events and educational activities.
