Builder DIY Summer Camp 🔨🛠️
Welcome to Builder DIY Summer Camp—the ultimate camp for creative minds who love to build, sculpt, and create with their hands! Each day is packed with exciting hands-on projects where campers will work with a variety of 3D mediums to bring their ideas to life. From cardboard creations to building with wood and clay, this camp is all about exploring the world of sculpture and DIY building in the most fun and creative ways possible!

• Get started with cardboard sculptures!
• Explore the versatility of cardboard and design your very own 3D structures, like a miniature building, robot, or a creative abstract shape.

🧱 Tuesday – Lego Masterpieces

• Become a Lego architect and create detailed sculptures with Legos!
• Work on both free-form designs and guided challenges to build everything from vehicles to miniature cities.

🪚 Wednesday – Woodworking Wonders

• Discover the world of wood building as campers design and construct small wooden sculptures or creations.
• Learn about basic tools (with adult supervision) like hammers, nails, wood glue, saws and sand paper to create your own build!

🎨 Thursday – Clay Sculpting

• Dive into the world of clay as campers craft detailed sculptures using air dry clay.
• Sculpt figures, animals, or even small decorative objects—this is the perfect day for those who love working with their hands!

🖼 Friday – Paper Sculptures & Collage Art

• End the week by creating 3D sculptures and paper collages using different paper types, cutting techniques, and layering.
• Craft everything from paper animals to intricate paper flowers and learn how paper can be transformed into something extraordinary!

CandyLand Summer Camp 🍬🍭
CandyLand Camp is back for its 3rd year, and it’s sweeter than ever! Last year, it was our fastest-selling camp, and we can’t wait to bring the magic of candy-inspired creativity to your campers again! This year, we’ll combine art, design, and candy magic for a truly delicious experience. Campers will be designing  board games, building candy sculptures, painting candy art, and best of all, we’re heading to McCords Candies each day to be inspired by the sweetest candy shop around! Inspiration will flow as we explore the candy shop’s whimsical displays, play iSpy in the windows, and learn what it’s like to be a real-life Willy Wonka—with a visit each day!

Dollhouse Designer Summer Camp 🏠✨
A timeless tradition at Flourish Studio! Dollhouse Designer Summer Camp is back for its 7th year, and it’s as exciting as ever! Campers will spend the week planning, designing, and building their very own miniature dollhouses exactly as they imagine them. From the foundation to the tiniest details, this camp allows artists to express their creativity while developing their design and construction skills.

Camp Details:
📅 Dates: July 14th - 18th, 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
🎨 Ages: 6-10 years old
🎟 Full-Week Enrollment Only—This is a course, so artists are encouraged to sign up for the whole week to complete their dollhouse project!

• Begin constructing the framework and walls of their dollhouse.
• Discuss what makes a well-designed space and create a vision for the interior and exterior.

🖌 Tuesday – Building the Structure

• Learn basic crafting skills like cutting, gluing, and measuring to build a sturdy structure.
• Bring the exterior to life, leaving no detail unattended.

🎨 Wednesday – Designing the Interiors

• Design the rooms, furniture, and decor inside their dollhouses.
• Explore creative techniques for painting and decorating miniature furniture.

👩‍🎨 Thursday – Peg People & Personal Touches

• Create custom peg people to live in their dollhouses, with fun outfits and accessories!
• Add personalized touches to the dollhouse, from wallpaper to small art pieces.

🏡 Friday – Dollhouse Village & Final Showcase

• Finish up any final touches and set up their dollhouses in a display village!
• Celebrate their creations and play with their dolls in the community of miniatures they’ve created!

Basic Sculpture Techniques in plaster, Styrofoam, Polymer clay, and other materials will be explored. Students may create creatures, animals, and their faces in plaster, or tell a 3D story. Long Sleeves are encouraged as some people experience skin irritation from the plaster.

Based on our popular teen animation course, this camp dives into the exciting world of animation, character design, and digital storytelling. Whether your artist is new to animation or looking to refine their skills, this hands-on camp will help them bring their ideas to life!

A Flourish tradition! For six years, our Castle Creation Camp has been a favorite, and we have no plans of stopping anytime soon! This magical camp is a full-week adventure where young artists will design, build, and bring to life their very own castle.
From the grand exterior to the tiny details inside, campers will craft everything —including peg people, furniture, and decorations—all while playing and storytelling in our kingdom village with their friends!

Join us for a summer filled with creativity, exploration, and fun! Each week brings a new theme packed with exciting projects and hands-on creative experiences. As always, our camps are rooted in process art, encouraging young artists to experiment, explore, and create in their own unique way!

Teen Public Art Summer Camp 🎨🌆

A camp where art meets impact! In our Teen Public Art Summer Camp, young artists will plan, design, and create a real mural in the heart of downtown! This years mural is going up at a prominent local hub for the arts, Civic Theatre! This hands-on experience will teach them the power of public art, visual storytelling, and collaboration, leaving a lasting mark on their community.

Camp Details:
📅 Dates: July 7th-11th
🕙 Time:10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
🎨 Ages: 12+ years old
🎟 Full-Week Enrollment Only—This is a collaborative project, and each day builds on the last as artists bring their mural to life!
🥪 What to Bring: A packed lunch and refillable water bottle
🌞 Outdoor Fun! Weather permitting, lunchtime will include activities like a short walk, or free play in the community garden. Sunblock, hats, or sunglasses are encouraged!

What They’ll Explore:
🎭 Monday – The Power of Public Art

• Learn how murals tell stories and shape communities.
• Tour public art in the area and discuss visual communication strategies.
• Begin brainstorming mural concepts as a team.

📐 Tuesday – Design & Planning

• Work together to sketch, refine, and finalize the mural design.
• Learn about scaling artwork and mural-making techniques.
• Meet with local public art organizations to understand the role of artists in city spaces.

🎨 Wednesday – Prep & First Strokes

• Begin prepping and laying out the mural at the selected location.
• Start painting and layering the foundation of the design.

🖌 Thursday – Bringing It to Life

• Continue painting with detail work, shading, and final touches.
• Discuss how public art can spark conversations and social change.

🌟 Friday – Finishing Touches & Personal Projects

• Complete the mural and celebrate with a final showcase!
• Create stickers, stencils, and buttons to promote personal artistic ideas.

✅ Drop-off camp: Check-in/out within 5 minutes of start and end times.
✅ Ages: 12+years old.
